Patches

Patches is a cozy journaling game about the life of the objects we love. In it, you take on the role of a fibercraft item, an article of clothing, or home furnishing. 

You tell the stories of your owners as you come into their hands, are passed on to new owners, and remade into something new once you wear out. Finally, you tell the story of what someone does to remember you long after you're gone. 

The game runs on a single sheet of paper with a single set of RPG dice, and lasts approximately 30-90 minutes. 

Patches exists to celebrate and encourage conscious consumption, maker culture, thrift, transformation, and tradition, in line with stories such as Something From Nothing, A Bag in the Wind, and others.
